Someone was talking to me about properties they’re trying to sell and it just clicked – I should have a look at their properties. Why in the world should I even bother waiting for MLH to contact me for a condominium when it would probably be better to purchase property that I can move into right away? On the plus side, I will be able to adopt more animals if I have my own place, whereas condominiums don’t normally allow tenants to have pets on the property. I spoke to my sister about it, and we’ve agreed to first purchase a property on both our names. If the property has a house on it (which would be ideal), we could first live in that, and then slowly build on it until we have 2 separate houses on the property. If this whole idea pans out, I will most likely drop the entire plan of getting a condominium. It will just be an added expense, with no real investment potential and I don’t really see myself living in a place without pets.
I ate almost an entire jar of vegan chocolate spread the other day, I then started to feel bloated, and I now have some kind of IBS flare-up. That said, it also coincides with my taking progestin, so I don’t know if that is the cause of this flare-up. I went to the pharmacy earlier to purchase Buscopan. Progestin tends to increase my appetite (short-term) so this sudden over-indulgence do cause digestive issues. I might have to eat rice tomorrow.
We spoke to C2 this week, she has agreed to be employed starting on the first of August. Apart from her basic salary, pension contributions and annual leave bonus, we will be offering a monthly allowance for bus fare as well as adding her phone number to our business package so she will have unlimited calls and text as well as 10GB internet per month. It may not sound like much to some, but I’m sure these added benefits will help improve the quality of her life, for a while anyway. We will have to think up of ways to make her feel “promoted” the longer she stays with us. But the issue is that she will be a shop assistant, so unless we expand, their position will always be “shop assistant.” Anyway, that will be an issue for another day.
