I’ve taken a bit of a break from blogging lately because of some rather upsetting news that was brought to my attention over a week ago, involving a family member.
Apart from that:
1. my sister and I received a letter from ESA earlier today informing us that our application for a kiosk at Beau Vallon was not successful.
2. never heard back from SPF about our application for any size of office space in any of their establishments. They are constantly pushing online that they have available spaces on all 3 islands (Mahe, Praslin and La Digue) but we’ve applied and I guess we’re just not good enough for them.
3. No news from the MLH about my condominium application.
For just anybody to have some kind of opportunity in this country, you need to know the right people. Nepotism is alive and well in this country. Anyway, in the words of Chumbawamba, “I get knocked down, but I get up again, you’re never gonna keep me down.”
