My sister and I decided to go for a bit of a drive close to the south part of the island to get ourselves out of the house and to get our minds out of this closed space. I bought more snacks, yay! I’ve also been having an extremely hungry week so this evening we went by Asian Wok and I got myself something called “veg Manchurian with vegetable fried rice” and told them to add brown onions and fried peanuts. I could only eat half of that portion for dinner. I don’t think I should even weigh myself tomorrow!
We also received our iHerb order which we ordered the week before last week. I ordered some cosmetics and protein bars that aren’t possible to purchase here. We’ll probably do an iHerb order once a month.
Our earnings today was better, but our staff misbehaved. We’ll probably go easy on them tomorrow but one of them already communicated that she has a doctor’s appointment on Friday so she will be taking a day off. As they were both misbehaving today by taking their breaks and lunch periods whenever they felt like it and they also left the store a few minutes earlier than they should despite being reminded that they are not allowed to leave earlier than our closing time, we are not convinced that employing them is the right move for us at the moment. So we will keep them both as “casuals” until the end of the month. We are now looking into hiring an expatriate, someone who is most likely more reliable than these little ladies. Just barely a week into this job and they’re both already taking day offs. Come on now!
Almost done sorting out my room. I will try to complete this tomorrow. I will then have to sort out my collections, basically pick out my favourite postcards and then with the rest I’ll scan them, pluck out the stamps and probably just throw them away or something. I don’t want to throw them away but I literally have thousands and I no longer know what to do with them.
